Yoga Spezialistin Anastasia Stoyannides and her secrets staying radiant
In autumn, when sunny days are getting rare, our wish is to preserve the spirit of summer and the lightness of being. What to do then?
We can create a new concept of using our energy throughout the day.
We can explore new ways of training ourselves physically and emotionally, starting from the inside out. Here are seven secrets to keeping us young, fresh and motivated during the grey months of the year.
- Trust the idea “less is more”.
Exercise consistently but not necessarily hard. If possible, exercise regularly every week. Trust that your body needs time to digest physical training and to show results. It is not only about the quantity but also about the joy we feel while exercising.
- Fall in love with yourself.
Love your body as it is. Adapt to its biorhythm and respect its needs. Feel how different your body is every day. Adapt your training to that, and you will be rewarded with amazing results.
- Honour the change you would like to see, and go for it.
Focus on the picture you would like to achieve. See the body that will make you happy. Connect to that image every time before training. Make the prayer for your wishes with a “clear intention”
- Start the day with something that you really like.
Step out of dos and don’ts. Start the day with what feels good to you. No matter whether this is a cup of coffee, a cigarette or a chocolate croissant. Leave conventions behind and enjoy. Nobody is perfect. We can change a habit once we have realized how it makes us feel.
- Take your time.
Allow a short break from your busy day to do something just for yourself.
Close your eyes and release all tension in the face. And why not finishing your day listening to your favourite music or reading an inspiring book?
- Always be a curious student.
Visit your favourite yoga, sports or dance class with an open mind. There are so many exciting things to learn on this journey of loving your body.
- Breathe consciously.
Add to the inner melody a vital rhythm of conscious breaths. Inhale easily starting down from your belly and rolling that breath all the way up to the chest. This is so simple, and will make you feel beautiful and radiant
